Today Morning I had been given a task to add a scheduled task in Windows 2012 server, that should be executed periodically. I was successful to add a task, but couldn’t find a solution to schedule it periodically till I tried Googling.. Sharing this bit of information for someone who may look at it while they have this same problem..
- Starting from the Create Task click:
- Give the task, a name.
- Add a new item in Actions wizard that will start a program or execute a script, with any arguments or parameters, if required.
- Now add a trigger where you can configure whether it needs to be run as a scheduled task or on an event. Click OK twice.
Now you’re ready to go!!
